Yes, I’ve updated my Ubuntu so… this was written with Drivel running under Ubuntu 8.04.

sl sculptures

I’m playing with scripts and textures… my first attempt is almost ready just need a couple of textures. I’m already thinking about next one… This one was builded inside SL but for the next one I’m going to use Blender and probably going to use sculpted prims (made with Blender too) also. Pics soon!

I’m a finalist lol

Just for the fun and experience, I decided to submit 2 images to a SL advertising  contest promoted by Pearl’s Design (Pearl’s Design is a clothes, boots and jewelry store).  This is the finalists board.  Don’t really know when the final results will be announced…

As you can see, my image isn’t that interesting (simple copy paste… did during a smoke) but it’s different than the usual softcore style… I like to think so I don’t think my image has any chance, the model is so small… On the other hand, all the other images are so similar. Every store has this type of advertisement. It would be nice if some stores started to adopt a new style.

Anyway, I’m going to look for other kind of competitions, this isn’t my style.

Sometimes, it looks like SL means “Sexual Leisure” and LL (Linden Lab) is a Maxim division

At last, this looks a little bit like what I was planning… I’m leaving “hello world” for historical reasons and this is my first post here. After some tests, I’m hoping this is it! A place to talk about my phd and all the other stuff that matter to me
