Summer started with some changes

August 23, 2008

After some tests… I’m using Drivel for now :) Yes, I finally managed to organize my laptop and I’m with a dual boot (vista + ubuntu). I was afraid that would be difficult to access all the files saved/stored under windows but… it’s not!
I was running Vista, inserted Ubuntu 8.04 dvd and installed it really EASY, just followed the instructions (actually, I just pressed next and ok buttons…) and Ubuntu installed itself. Now I have a dual boot laptop and files stored in Vista desktop and My Documents folder are accessible through Host folder in Ubuntu so…
I decided to reorganize some folders to easy my workflow and here I go :) at last…
I’m writing this outside, near my home, at a coffee shop table, using drivel as blog poster software (have no internet access here… ) and will publish it later. yupi!
Why Drivel? well, I tried a couple and this on was the most simple and easy to work with. Blogtk seemed good (more features and buttons) but had some trouble with the account managing and after all, I only need this to post text and an image onde and a while so… Drivel it is.
